There is a whole host of benefits to the “one key system” which I will attempt to list.
· Your key is protected by a key card which stops uncontrolled copies of your key being cut.
· No one can get a spare key cut for their own personal use, if visitors, tenants or temporary maintenance workers refuse to return the key it can be removed from the system so it won't work again.
· This eliminates the chances of uncontrolled keys becoming a security risk; it also reduces the amount of keys you have to worry about.
· Your premises security can be managed on “one key” saving you valuable time and resources on maintaining the building.
· If keys are lost or stolen your locks can simply be re coded rather than replaced so that the missing key does not work, keeping costs down.
· For Landlords of Flats the Tenant’s key will operate the main communal door and their own flat door; however their key will not let them into the neighbouring flat.
